Morisco is the name given to the Muslims who stayed on in Granada after conquest. The hotel Casa Morisca, offers acommodation with a unique flavour within a grand old house dating back to the end of the 15th. century.

The patio preserves its original morisco pool and on all four sides there are galleries supported by pilasters and columns. This ancient interior, was given a new street façade in the 17th. century.

Out of the hotel and down the street, there is a bus stop whick connects the Albayzin with the city centre and the Alhambra. Also, just a few minutes walk down the river Darro, you can get the Cathedral and the main monuments of Granada.
